The Children’s University is an innovative project aimed at encouraging children to access education beyond the normal school day.

Children’s University promotes learning as a life long process.

The challenge is to create a positive attitude to learning that encompasses all learners.

This challenge brings schools and parents closer, with parents and communities becoming more actively involved in the learning enterprise.

The North Tyneside Children’s University (NTCU) Waggonways Project has encompassed a huge range of out of hours learning projects which have been invaluable for pupils of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
